((1/m1)+(1/m2)+........(1/mi))(r+k)=r, can we find a general solution to the equation ?

Say r=17 and k=1, m1=2, m2=3 and m3=9, the solution gives us three factors 0f 9, 6 and 2 with k=1 being the remainder. I am hopeful that this can be generalized for large values of r. Can some generalization be made?
