Can AAO (Anodic Aluminum Oxide) be a hard mask of GaN growth in MOCVD?

Will AAO decompose and cause additional Aluminum doping? The thickness of the AAO layer ranges from 100nm to 300nm. The MOCVD growth temperature is around 1000 centidegree.
