While synthesizing Metal-Organic Framework, how can we choose the parameter (especially Temperature)?

Especially, In the case of solvo-thermal route, for Zr-MOFs, 120 °C, Cd-MOFs and Ni-MOFs, 160°C. Is metal precursor deciding the Temperature limit during synthesis?
