For any linear control system, what is the difference between giving a feedback $u=Kx$ or $u=Kx+v$, where x is state and u is control of the system?

Suppose I have a linear control system \dot{x} = Ax + Bu. Is there any difference If I give a feedback in the form $u = Kx$ or $u Kx + v$?
