What is the best stats package which will give me basics like ANOVA T-test Chi square etc., bearing in mind that I am self-funded?

Among other things I want to compare complex longitudinal mensuration data between groups of trees, and need to include several variables. Running Windows 7. Any help would be gratefully received....
