Does anyone have experience with post mortem MRI of formalin-fixed mice brains?

Imaging on 7T Bruker preclinical MRI with mouse head surface coil, paravision version 6.0.1 software. I managed to get a decent T1 image but have a problem with T2... any advice on the parameters...
