Hey may Dears, any one who can help me? How to set parameters (especially MAC TYPE) for NS2 wireless simulation?

I am trying a simulation for 6LoWPAN routing protocol and I should make it's mac type IEEE 802.15.4 but it is not possible. it's default is for wireless LAN(802.11)
