Can someone direct me to a simple way to analyze data from a 5-point likert scale survey comparing 2 groups?

The survey was 12 questions, 10 of which were 5-point likert responses; 2 were yes or no. Need to to analyze in JMP or Excel as I have no coding experience for R. It has also been about 10 years...
