Hello,new on the website!I am culturing some species of microalgae and cyanobacteria.Should I use extra pure grade reagents for the media?If yes, why?

Every reagent can be chosen in several grade of purity so I am wondering which one could be sufficient for microalgae. Is it so essential a 99 % purity?
