Can anyone help with long range PCR optimization?

I manage to optimize my target of 10kb but i also noticed there is a slight faint band just below my target. Can I proceed with NGS? Will it affect the result?

Which is more stable; PCR product or purified pcr product?

I will be sending my samples for next generation sequencing in a few weeks time. Is it ok to purify samples now and keep them at -20 or better to purify few days before sending for sequencing?
