Why there is no absorbance peak for Hydrophobic Doxorubicin?

I am trying to encapsulate hydrophobic doxorubicin in liposme, i can not see any absorbance peak for DOX, but there is a very sharp fluorescence peak of DOX,that indicate that DOX is encapsulated...
