Is it possible to collect blood samples from from juvenile salmonids after euthanasia?

I am interested in looking at indicators of osmoregulatory performance (plasma chloride, plasma sodium, haematocrit, cortisol etc.) in salmon smolts after a period of exposure to salt water....
