Concept of ZMP in humanoid dynamics doesnot work, when hands are in support along with legs in static or motion, how to compute sstability point/ZMP?

I prefer to ask fundamentals of application of ZMP, how can we decide on ZMP when hands of humanoid legs are also supporting
