I'm working on bullet impact on ceramics in LS-DYNA.for some velocities my ceramic is not failing,it defomed and bullet is moving through it?how?

there should be two conditions-1.if ceramic strength is high,bullet should stop.2.is bullet momentum is high ,ceramic plate should fail but my problem is ,here ceramic plate is deformed little bit...
