Dissolving green-synthesized nanoparticles??

Hi to all, I am trying to dissolve green-synthesized metal oxide nanoparticles for DPPH and ABTS assays. I have tried 70% ethanol and DMSO, but no way. Can any one suggest other solvent(s)? N.B....
