If I increase the voltage in Electron backscattered diffraction ( EBSD), what will happen to the spacing of bands in the kikuchi pattern?

What is the relation between actual d-spacing of crystal to the spacing observed between the excess and deficient lines of a kikuchi band? I thought it was just 1/d but actually it is not true. Why?
