I have seen papers where they use small and large unilameller liposomes (size upto few hundred nanometers). But can we measure fluidity of giant unilameller liposomes (size in few micrometers)...

Is it possible to measure membrane fluidity in giant unilamellar lipsomes using fluorescent probes such as DPH and TMA DPH?

To measure fluidity, usually small or large unilamellar vesicles are used but not giant liposomes. Is there any specific reason behind it?
