To calculate the pore size in MCM, I use the low angle method for x-ray diffraction. My question is, can I apply the same method it to porous coal?

I know that to calculate the pore size in any material there is the SAXS Method. However, I have not this machine. So, Can I applied the low angle method fo XRD, in porous carbón?

How do we corelate optical properties between nanomaterials and materials?

what optical property can I use to demonstrate that nanomaterials have better properties with respect to materials of the same composition but that they are not nanomaterials?
