Trial division: To test if n is prime, one can check for every k≤ sqrt (n) if k divides n. If no divisor is found, then n is prime. Or 6k+/-1

Will the results of an ordinal logit model be different from OLS regression, with discrete dependent variables?

Say the Y variable is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and Xs are continuous. Would performing OLS be an issue? Can it be set up as an ordinal logit? Is there any software that specializes in the former?
