Did anyone know the mechanism of detection benzene using cnt modified?

I'm working on detection of acetone and benzene using cnt-, cnf- and go- modified. but my current data not very promising. can anyone give idea to improve my resistance reading? thanks

What is the difference using nitrogen gas and synthetic air as carrier gas in gas sensor?

is it nitrogen take part in sensing ? is it nitrogen gas can give effect during desorption of tested gas?
