Why grain size decrease after aging? does precipitates and grain both move together in aging process? if yes then what is driving force ?

Basically I want to know why grain boundary becomes small after aging ,as at temperature increases grain size.

Why the Vickers hardness of the cold rolled Al alloy sample (after alligator defect) is coming less than the as received sample?

The Al alloys is broken in cold rolling due to alligator defect and now its Vickers hardness is coming less than as received. Is it possible? Because after cold rolling hardness always increase.

Why an aluminum alloy is breaking after solution heat treatment during rolling in one or two passes while it is rolled well in as received condition?

As received sample is rolled well in 10 passes with 5% reduction in each pass while its breaking after solution heat treatment like brittle material in one or two passes.
