Is it possible to use a CI(diesel) engine on a motorcycles?

hello, almost all motorcycles manufacturer such Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki  use SI engine on their respective bikes. None of them ever commercialized a CI engine motorcycle. Just why?
