Why coercivity increases by doping Gd instead of Nd in NdFeB?

I prepared samples with different proportions of Gd in NdFeB alloys in which I replaced Gd with Nd. The coercivity increases as the amount of Gd doped increases. Why is that so? Thanks

Why c/a ratio varies by doping Gd in NdFeB based alloys?

I doped Gd instead of Nd in NdFeB-based alloys. XRD data shows the variation in c/a ratios of all samples. What can be the possible reasons for that?
