Can any one advice, what is refractive index of fine particles of pyrite ore in water?

particle size of 10 ppm emulsion of pyrite is being measured by Malvern. but the result is not accurate because the refractive index of pyrite is unknown.

For example solution contains 50 ppm gold cyanide. Can we determine without using AAS?
