I have a question about phenol formaldehyde resins. Do only resole type of resin show problem of formaldehyde release? Do not Novolac have the issue?

What is the effect of concentration of a coordination catalyst on the molecular weight of a polymer?

Will the MW decrease if I go from 0.02 wt% to 0.002 wt%? Also, does it depend on the cocatalyst/ligand that we use? Can we achieve chain transfer such as in RAFT by adding some CT agent? Regards...
