How can E and Z isomers of a C-C double bond (A P=O bond directly attached to the double bond) be determined without using X-ray method?

Only one of the stereoisomers (E or Z) is produced through the reaction, and as the product has a P=O bond directly attached to the double bond, the product is oily and cannot be recrystallized...
