Do you know if postdiapause copepodits of freshwater Cyclopoids may feed on newborn cladocerans (eg. Daphnia, Bosmina etc.)?

I am trying to hatch cladocerans from lake sediment samples but I am afraid they may be eaten by postdiapause Cyclopoids (most likely copepodits in the fourth stage) that I can not get rid off....
