How can I estimate the osmotic potential at full turgor without using the pressure-volume curves?

I saw in the paper from Nguyen-Queyrens et al. (2002) that osmotic potential = ( osmotic potential at full turgor × 100) / Relative Water Content, but it does not seem correct to just to calculate...
