How to clean the gold-coated QCM-D chip?

I pre-coated the chips with 11-mercaptoundecanoic acid (MUA). Since, MUA  self-assembly monolayer is a dense  film,  I wonder how to regenerate the chip . Is there anyone who deal with this before?
