How do we calculate Green House Gases emission from the waste at the landfill? I am looking for a calculation, data required and the formula?

The landfill is more of an open dumpyard. And this project's objective is to deduce the amount of Green House Gases emitted, so i am not able to come up with the formula for calculations.
