Is there any easy way of isolating sulfur reducing/oxidizing bacteria under aerobic conditions?

In order to perform bio-desulfurization of diesel, pure cultures of sulfur bacteria have to be isolated. Can it be done in less than a month when your samples are collected from contaminated soil?
