Can you cause triploid pear fruit to produce seeds by adding colchicine to the blossoms or root area?

I am hoping to treat pear blossoms of a plant I suspect as triploid with colchicine, or something like it, to get the blossoms to produce seeds when they set fruit. The fruit this pear produces...
