What is the possibility of using a magnetron sputtering device for Li targets?

How to make thin films from a 3 inch diameter Li target (99.9% purity) in a magnetron sputtering device. Li oxidizes quickly in air, so I'm hesitant to use it. I'm currently storing it in oil....
