Is there any special trick to grow crystal in supramolecular self- assembly reaction?

I tried several times a self-assembly reaction between a pyridine (derivatives) base donor linker and Pd salt based acceptor linker in DMSO at very small scale (0.005mmol) but I didn't get crystal...
