What might be possible sources of Fe contamination when measuring Fe in leaf tissue samples by ICP-MS?

For some reason we are getting a high variation in Fe %. Some samples replicates have 20% Fe whereas others have 1%. We're trying to determine what contamination sources may be contributing to...
