I am looking for a software can measure the length of curves (the red region). Can someone recommend some easy (preferably free) way to do this?The circles are in tangent to each other.

Can a single crystal have a (220) but NOT a (110) plane, but a powder sample can have both?

I'm studying a deposited thin film, in powder form. I see both (110) and (220) peaks. However in what appears to be an epitaxial film, I only see a very strong (220) peak but not a (110) peak.....
