I'm interested in the climate (especially the precipitation) of Ibiza and Mallorca in the medieval time. Are there existing studies in dendrology?

Muslim irrigation systems in the medieval time in Ibiza required some water resources. Today these water resources are limited. I suppose there was a climate change since the 13th century.
