Is there any possibility that iron in natural water exhibits luminescence property when passed through UV-VIS spectrum ?

I have analysed some ground water samples under UV-VIS spectrum ranging from 200nm to 1100nm and got negative peaks in many samples. Deionized water was used as blank. The machine used is WTW6000.
