Why does my posterior sample of trees created by MrBayes not contain branch lengths, when I specified savebrlens=yes?

I reconstructed a Bayesian phylogeny using MrBayes in CIPRES for further study in BayesTraits, but BayesTreesConverter returns an error because there are no branch lengths in the posterior sample...
