Does anybody know a good protocol for cultivating organotypic cultures of cerebellum of adult mouse?

I want to culture adult mouse cerebellum, but all protocols use neonatal or embrionic cells. Another question is if it´s reasoneable incubate whole cerebellum instead of slices?
