Can any one tell me the chemical composition OR recipe of solutions used in "DNA extraction from agarose gel"?

I find it expensive to buy DNA extraction/purification kits. I have silica columns and the rest of chemicals. I want to make my own solutions for DNA extraction from agarose gel and/or PCR products.
