What solvent/mixture of solvents/technique would be suitable for recrystallization of 2,3,3-trimethylbenzoindole ?

I obtain 2,3,3-trimethylbenzoindole through Fischer indole synthesis (88% purity). I cannot find a way to purify this intermediate, and I need a min. 99% for using into the next step for dyes...
