What is difference between dense hydrous magnesium silicates (DHMS) and nominally anhydrous minerals (NAM)? Can a mineral be both DHMS and NAM?

I called wadsleyite and hydrous ringwoodite "DHMS", but the reviewer suggested to call them "NAM". My co-author disagrees. Who is right?
