Can I visualized methyl umbelliferon in bacteria screening using 285 nm wavelength instead of 302 nm?

I would like to screen bacteria using fluorescent compound (methyl umbelliferyl), and the results can be visualized with wavelength between 302 nm-350 nm (some paper mention different wavelenght)....
