Could anyone explain the bonding character of wurtzite ZnO? I think it possesses both covalent and ionic characters. Is there a relationship between bond type and forbidden band gap?

What is the reason for the yellow colour in titanium dioxide films?

We have deposited titanium dioxide thin films by spray pyrolysis at 350°C substrate temperature. We have seen white coatings on glass substrates. but there are yellow formations under the substrates.
