I was near to purify my first protein through superdex column last month.but when i was running the water i select wrong pump ?

that have not enough water so air goes to column for more than 3 hours .then i run degassed water at 0.5 ml/minute from top to bottom of column for 1 weak. I observe chromatogram peaks showed air...
