Why CCL4-HFD-HCC model not successful?

CCl4 dose was 0.1 mL/kg （0.1μL/g) and a high‐fat diet ( 60 kcal% fat and 20 kcal% carbohydrate） induced HCC, but the tumor number was small and also the small in size , I want to search the reason
