Is there any possibility that by changing the metal in cold fusion process, we can actually be able to perform cold fusion?

During the cold fusion, 'Pd' & 'Pt' are the metals we use but still, cold fusion is not achievable. So, is there any possibility that by changing these metals, we can perform cold fusion.
