Is oil Red O staining an appropriate staining method for paraffin embedded tissues? I am interested in viewing fatty acid treated vs untreated cells?

I am interested in viewing fatty acid treated vs untreated tissue to know if the fatty acid was taken by the whole tissue during treatment.
