For prosthetics, would a greener/more environment friendly socket material be used if it is proven to have the same properties as a conventional fibre glass socket?

As prosthetist, would you use a bamboo fabric instead of fibre glass if there is research to support it? Or would you continue with the materials you are used to? Keep in mind, the same processes...
